In October 1944, the Warsaw Uprising, Poland failed. 18,000 resistance fighters and 250,000 Polish civilians were killed in the fighting, more than 300,000 people were sent to concentration camps. Germans for the suppression of the uprising, put SS troops and a large number of elite equipment including heavy tanks and other, to pay the cost of the 1.7 million people who died nearly ten thousand people wounded.
